Privacy
Birth details are quasi-identifying, and this category has leaked them before. In the Trine app yours stay on your iPhone, along with your calendar and the charts of anyone you add. No ads, nothing sold, nothing in analytics. If you later connect an AI assistant, that is a separate choice with its own rules. Read the policy; it's short and it means it.

Electional astrology is the practice of choosing a start time for something — a launch, a signing, a hard conversation — based on the sky at that moment. Trine's Elect feature does this against your own chart and your actual free time, and returns three windows with the reasons for each.
Yes. Add someone with their birth date and place and Trine casts their chart on your phone, then explains how your two charts fit planet by planet in plain words, with no score or percentage. Elect can also search for a time that suits both of you.
No. With a birth date and place Trine can compute most of your chart. Without a birth time it leaves out your rising sign and houses, and tells you plainly which parts of a reading it cannot know rather than guessing.
Reading the sky is free: your chart, your transits, daily readings, your schedule and compatibility. Trine+ is a subscription that adds Elect (the search that finds a time for you, alone or with a friend) and Go deeper, the full technical layer behind every reading. Everything is free during the beta.
Trine's planetary positions are computed to the arcminute and checked against NASA's JPL Horizons system, so the astronomy can be verified. The astrology is interpretation: it is offered for reflection and planning, not as prediction or as medical, legal or financial advice.
In the Trine app your birth details stay on your iPhone. They are never sold, shared with advertisers or included in analytics, and your calendar is read on your phone and is not uploaded. Connecting Trine to an AI assistant is a separate, optional choice that stores a profile with Trine, described in the privacy policy.
Not yet. Trine for AI assistants is in development and is planned for Meta's Muse first. It will let your assistant read your chart, explain the dynamics between two people, and find a time for something, using Trine's calculations.
